Founder of Social Enterprise Lanka (SELANKA)
Eranda's Personal Profile
Eranda Ginige is the Founder of Social Enterprise Lanka (SELANKA), the pioneer in building a thriving social enterprise sector in Sri Lanka. He also acts as Ambassador for Democracy Earth to Sri Lanka, promoting blockchain-based Liquid Democracy.
Eranda is the Author of the first book written in Sinhala on the subject of Social Entrepreneurship titled “How to become a Successful Social Entrepreneur – Handbook of Social Entrepreneurs“.
He is the former Head of Innovation, Partnerships and Business Development at the British Council in Sri Lanka. Eranda started the recent movement of Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka by organising FUTURES – Social Innovation Forum held in 2014. He is the co-creator and host of the popular television show “ATH PAVURA” which promotes Sri Lankan social entrepreneurs and impact investors.

Isura's Personal Profile
He is a business consultant, social technopreneur and Educationist, fuelled by passion and a vision to grow rural social enterprises using STEAM education in Sri Lanka. Since 2006 he has been leading Sarvodaya-Fusion, a leading ‘IT for development’ Social Enterprise whose mission is to bring digital access, digital literacy and digital benefits to every person in the nation.
He was featured in the “40 Under 40” on Echelon magazine in 2014 as one of the most important risk takers, job creators and rule breakers. At Sarvodaya-Fusion, he has connected global CSR partners like Microsoft, CISCO, Facebook, and HSBC.
Moreover, with the World Bank, he has led a four-country social enterprise innovation program (Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh) as well. Currently, he is a business consultant to Sarvodaya-Fusion and two organisations in e-commerce and AI-based online education.
